Pony Effect Defense Longwear Cushion Foundation in Sand

I was curious with cushion foundations, but knowing it has less product and could cost the same or more compared to a full-size bottle foundation has kept me from trying it. However, I could see it so convenient for travel. As I had a few trips lined up last year, I had the urge to get one. So I got my hands on Pony Effect Defense Longwear Cushion Foundation. Gotta have a Korean brand for my first cushion foundation. 🙂

Addiction Cheek Polish in 09 Sensually

About the brand

ADDICTION is by Ayako Yoshimura who was the right hand of Francois Nars before becoming NARS’ International Creative Director. In 2009, she released her brand under Kose in Japan.

When a friend told me of Ayako’s work history with Francois Nars, that confirmed why I found ADDICTION reminiscent of NARS makeup.

Cheek Polish

The only Addiction item I have (at the moment as I want to get more in the future) is the Cheek Polish in 09 Sensually.

Project Pan 2018

I’m finally doing a project pan!

Until a couple of years ago, I always had to empty or hit pan before I buy new makeup. Eventually, with all the seemingly good releases and my unexpected liking for Dior, I’ve amassed a lot of makeup that emptying or hitting pan has become a challenge. So I’m doing that challenge this year. Not to buy new ones–except skincare, of course–but to lessen clutter and make way for still unopened makeup.

Before 2017 ended, I already listed the makeup and skincare I want to use up this 2018. Some like contour and bronzers could be really difficult to hit pan on, but I will do my best!

Hello 2018

It’s the last week of January already! Time sure flies, I haven’t even greeted our readers a happy new year. So while January hasn’t ended, happy new year, my pretties! 😁 I hope you all had a great new year celebration and no injuries due to firecrackers — that are already banned, by the way!– and I hope there was an abundance of great food, bottomless booze, and awesome company.

What’s in store for Glam Love this year?

FOTN: My Little Pony

I couldn’t help myself that I ordered directly from Colourpop‘s website a couple from their My Little Pony Collection, since I sometimes get from resellers (to support them). Man, my childhood in makeup! ♥ I was very excited when I first heard about the collection. 😀

I usually do swatches first for the blog and Instagram before I actually use new makeup, but I just had to use the eyeshadow palette right away. Oh, before I show my FOTN selfies, I’d like to remind that I always let my brows grow and keep them that way until I feel they need to be groomed. Anyway… On to the photos!

Chanel, Why Do You Do This To Me?

Last August 17, I tagged along Shabby to this Rustan’s Beauty Addict Beautiful You convention in Makati. In all honesty, I came for the drinks (haha!) and checking the goods was second priority. At some point that night, I ended up in Chanel, swatching their Rouge Allure Ink Matte Liquid Lip Colour, boy oh boy, I fell in love with one particular shade: 154 Experimente.

Canmake Mermaid Skin Gel UV SPF50+ PA++++

I have a couple of Biore sunscreens that I loved, but they eventually irritated my skin. It’s disappointing because they worked so well under makeup and kept my face matte for nearly eight hours. So I had to do another research and discovered through another oily-skin girl the Canmake Mermaid Skin Gel UV SPF50+ PA++++. 🙂

Anyway, in Canmake’s website, the gel sunscreen is described as so:

Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo – Original Formula

Please excuse the dirty-looking coffee mug in the cover photo. I didn’t notice it was there until right before I published this.

I’m already on my third bottle of the Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo – Original Formula and I realized I haven’t talked about it yet when it’s such a great product for anti-dandruff.

The first time I used the shampoo was in 2006 when I spent Christmas in the US. My scalp flaked and I would see them fall when I just lightly scratch my head. The only flakes I wanted to see were snowflakes, not dandruff! But I guess it was inevitable because of the cold weather and my warm showers.
