Some more background on when I bought the Deborah Hi-Tech Blusher in Mogano — The person who made the request asked me about Catrice. I haven’t tried anything from the brand, but some of their products have good reviews. So I tried all their blushes and they were either too shimmery and powdery–Fall-out was bad. 🙁 The sales lady recommended Deborah since it was at the next aisle. I’ve been curious about the brand too because that’s usually the first I see when I go to SM Makati’s beauty section. 🙂
I wasn’t too impressed by the first set of blushes I tried, but their Hi-Tech Blushers are good! I was sold, so I got one.
The only thing I know of Deborah is they’re an Italian cosmetics brand.
Deborah Milano Hi-Tech Blusher in Mogano
Mogano is a taupe mauve blush with silver shimmers. It may look shimmery in the pan, but it’s not as scary when applied. 🙂 Here’s a swatch:
It feels a little gritty when swatched with a finger, but goes on smoothly when applied on cheeks. The blush is quite pigmented, so a light hand is needed. Longevity is good as my cheeks still has color after an 8-hour work.
Besides my cheeks, I also apply and slightly intensify below my cheekbones for some depth. I do this when I’m pressed for time and can’t reach for a contouring powder.
The blush comes in a black plastic casing. It’s quite light, yet still feels sturdy. A brush is included and clipped underneath, which is a plus for those who do use brushes that come with makeup (I normally don’t use those).
I think Deborah would be a good brand to try. Their Hi-Tech Blusher is one I would recommend for a drugstore-priced blush. This was around PhP600. Not bad, huh? 🙂
Deborah Milano is available in SM Department Stores.
