Heroine Make Kiss Me Smooth Liquid Eyeliner

A few months ago, I  ran out of eyeliner and there was an event I had to be in which needed me to have eyeliner that was waterproof. So I ended up looking for a cheap waterproof eyeliner on the fly.

Unfortunately, if I wanted it cheap, my selections aren’t very promising… Until I found Isehan Heroine Make KissMe Eyeliner.

The packaging is quirky with a crying anime princess, I guess to emphasize that it is waterproof?

The Smooth Liquid Eyeliner has an ultra thin brush, at only 0.1mm-wide, allowing me to easily draw even the most difficult of lines perfectly. Plus its shake & dispense mechanism allows for its liquid formula to flow out smoothly & evenly. Although at times, it has a tendency to dry out while you’re in the middle of applying it so you’ll have to shake the pen again.

I love how I, who have been intimidated with liquid eyeliners for the longest time, didn’t have any trouble with this fantastic product.

As for longevity, it does hold to its promise that it does smudge easily. It’s not exactly waterproof, but it is tear proof. From experience, only water & soap or makeup remover can remove it from my eyelids.

It was only 595 pesos in Watsons when I got it. UNFORTUNATELY, I read on the Philippine FB page of Heroine Make that its local distributor, Mandom Philippine Corporation, has ceased to distribute the Heroine Make products effective this month, so I don’t know if you’ll still see any of the Heroine Make products in the department stores. 🙁

It is currently my favorite eyeliner from the 3 eyeliners I own but *sigh* if it’s going to be hard to get these eyeliners, I’m gonna have to find another waterproof one when this nearly runs out.

Have you tried out this eyeliner? What did you think of it?
