I love my two shades of Maybelline 24HR Color Tattoo. They are the (25) Bad to the Bronze and (80) Creamy Beige. I find myself being able to do my eye makeup faster when I use them for the reason that probably I have more application control. I actually use my fingers. I tried using a brush and it was a big fail. I couldn’t get any color on my lids.
I only got to look closer at the covers of these today. The differences are, besides the obvious labels, the Bad to the Bronze shade has ‘Gel-Cream Eyeshadow’ written on it, while the other is ‘Leather by EYESTUDIO.’ Also, the former is made in China while the latter is in USA.
Bad to the Bronze (25)
A sheen-finish bronze shade. The eyeshadow itself is creamy and smooth, which makes application with a finger easy.
Creamy Beige (80)
Most often my crease shade (for Bad to the Bronze), but also a base or like a primer. I also wear this on its own usually when I’m running late for work. I can’t have no eyeshadow when I have makeup on because my lids get oily. The consistency of the eyeshadow is a little dry, so there could be lots of pulling or tugging when I’m applying with my finger.
Both have been tested for more than 24 hours. (Eww! LOL :P) They do last as long as 24 hours, but they creased after 12 hours.
These shades are staples that everyone into eye makeup must own. 🙂 They are great for any occasion or time of the day. I rarely see these in stores I frequent to (Landmark Department Store, SM Makati, and PCX). So when you find them, go get ’em! They are very affordable too at PhP299, so it’s not bad to give them a try.
