I’m going to challenge myself to write at least ten posts this week excluding this one. *crosses fingers* XD Anyway, on to my Missha Moist Foundation review.
I got my tube of Missha Moist Foundation from my mum who got it from a convention. This was a giveaway included with the Missha Finish Pressed Powder and several others that I will be reviewing someday. LOL
In the picture above, that’s the actual color of the foundation. It looks like it’s for tan skin. But because it is translucent, it has a natural finish that is quite near to my skin tone except it gives a bit of shine. See below:
Here’s what I like about this:
- Doesn’t have a pinkish tint when applied
- Light on the face
- Its scent is similar to a bath soap, so it gives (me) that fresh from the bath feeling
- The thin consistency makes it easy and quick to apply
But those important for a foundation is where it performs poorly for me. It doesn’t really cover skin imperfections that well, so I usually use my HG concealer with it. The coverage doesn’t last too long. When the weather is good, it lasts me three hours at most. Then my face becomes very oily which increases the need to powder more.
Even though I’m not satisfied with the foundation, I still use it only when I have to go out for a very short while. Most especially at night. As long as there’s no camwhoring involved, it hardly matters what I look after hours and hours. 😛 I found my HG foundation and I can’t afford to use that all the time.
Missha Moist Foundation is best for dry skin. The generous amount of natural moisturizers as it claims to have and that it’s not oil-free may worsen oily and combination skin.
Missha is available in SM North EDSA.
