Nivea body’s Good-bye Cellulite Gel “visibly reduces the appearance of cellulite.” The gel contains L-Carnitine that is “naturally present in the skin” and converts fat components to energy. The daily use of this gel will therefore be beneficial to our skin as it reduces visible cellulite.
My first tube of this gel was from my mum. Since I like to wear shorts (as my mum said) and I wear skirt for office five days a week, she got me a tube and advised me to apply it everyday. I admit I have cellulite on my thighs. Yet they don’t seem to be that terrible-looking. LOL But I might as well start using such product before these annoying cellulite worsens. 😛
The gel’s color is light blue. Almost the same that of the lady in bikini silhouette print on the tube. It is slightly sticky, so I apply it before a regular body lotion. I like its soft floral-like scent that kind of reminds me of a fabric softener or a soap.
After 2 weeks the skin is noticeably toned and smooth.
After 4 weeks the signs of cellulite are visibly reduced.
I didn’t keep track of how many days or weeks it took for cellulite reduction to occur. I applied only once daily. The first I noticed was my thighs felt smoother. Then, eventually, toned. Now that I’m already with my second tube, that’s when I noticed some of my cellulite are gone or hardly noticeable. Results definitely vary on the frequency of use and type of person. I might have faster, more noticeable results if I apply twice daily. I still have stubborn cellulite that I hope would go away soon. But I don’t only rely on this gel. I also do exercises for skin tightening. 🙂
Applying once daily, it took me almost three months to finish my first tube. Nivea body’s Good-bye Cellulite Gel costs around PhP400 and should be available in department stores. I saw this in both SM Makati and The Landmark Makati.
I thought this was discontinued right after they introduced the product here. When I went to buy my second tube before I could empty the first, I couldn’t find any. Maybe a month after did I see them on the shelves again.
