Better late than never. 😆
The holiday season is the busiest time of the year. Not only with the Christmas rush of gift shopping and/or get-togethers, but work deadlines too, which is difficult when you’re already feeling the holidays. I didn’t get to switch beauty and skin care products when December came because I was very busy to bother. Besides, almost everything I used in November I ended up liking so much that I didn’t want to switch yet. Even so, there are only a few that I really loved and would consider favorites. I think the same goes for Joiz. 🙂 I’ll begin with hers.
Dior Diorskin Forever Perfect Makeup, Everlasting Wear, Pore-refining Effect Broad Spectrum SPF 35
What a long name! She says this is the “perfect” foundation for her. I couldn’t agree more. It has amazing oil-control and feels light on the skin even though it’s medium to full coverage.
Dior Diorific Matte Fluid Lip & Cheek Velvet Colour in 001 Pleasure
Besides that it’s dual-purpose, she also loves its color, texture, and longevity. Another shade from this range is also included in my favorites.
As for mine:
Essence All About Matt! Fixing Compact Powder
By far the best affordable setting powder I used and still do. It keeps my nose oil-free for about 5 to 6 hours.
Clinique Pop Oil Lip & Cheek Glow 04 Black Honey Glow
I prefer to use this on my lips than on my cheeks. It moisturizes, is not sticky, doesn’t feel heavy when layered, and is actually pigmented for a lip oil. I ♥ any lip care that also gives color.
Dior Diorific Matte Fluid Lip & Cheek Velvet Colour in 002 Marvel
I finally came to terms that my most favorite shade is bright fuchsia, which makes this an easy favorite. 🙂 Be it on my lips and/or cheeks, this is flattering on me, brightens my face, non-drying (on lips), and lasts long.
Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm
One of my favorite things to do at the end of the day is massage my face with this. The Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm completely, easily, and gently removes makeup. I have been using it for four months now and there’s still a lot in the jar. Truly worth spending for. See my full review here.
So those are all our favorites. If you use or tried any of these, let us know how they worked for you. 🙂Other stuff you might also like:
