I’m happy I could blog here again. 😀 It sucks when, besides paperwork, you still have several meetings to attend to. Well, I hope I didn’t jinx my blogging here. Haha!
Today I will be sharing my Nuxe purchase last Mother’s Day and their Rêve de Miel Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm.
Nuxe Evening Skin Care
Nuxe had a promo for Mother’s Day when they sold their skin care products in sets such as for the morning and evening routines. I bought the latter because I doubt the morning skin care would result in anything probably except for protection from all the makeup I’ll be applying after. XD It also includes a Cleansing Gel for Face & Body, which is the only one I haven’t used yet among these. I forgot how much I paid for the set, but
I think this cost me around PhP3000PhP3450. Not bad because all the products are of regular size. Along with this purchase, I got the cult favorite lip balm.
Nuxe Rêve de Miel Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm
Individual items were also on sale.
I think this was 20% off or more. But a discount is a discount, so I got it too. The Nuxe Rêve de Miel Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm is PhP650. Wit the sale, it was only PhP488. 😀 It’s my most favorite and recommended lip balm at the moment. Do you like lipsticks (especially those matte often drying lipsticks) like I do? Then this is a must-have!
My problem with many lipsticks is they always dry my lips. My lips would peel too and rarely do lip balms work until this.
Part of my evening routine, I put on a thick layer of the lip balm and leave it until morning. My lips would feel very moisturized and smooth; just ready for a whole day with lipstick on. Right now I’m into mattes, so this is a ‘lip saver.’ I haven’t experienced any drying or peeling anymore since this. 😀
It has a mild honey scent, is not gritty, and feels slightly thick, but does not feel annoying or heavy when I have it on.
I only tried once to use this before a liquid lipstick. I think it worked with a certain brand, but I forgot which. I have to experiment again. I also want to try patting this on when I use my drying matte lipsticks. Has anyone tried that to see if it doesn’t make the lipstick crumbly? Had no luck with Google.
I’ll say it again — I highly, highly recommend this lip balm. Worth the money! It should be around PhP600, I think, and will even last you a long, long time. I use this every day and the lip balm is still near the lid.
The Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Usage Dry Oil is another I want from the brand. I could use it for the dry skin on my legs and it might help lessen the oiliness of my face. So when I bought the set and lip balm, I requested for samples of the dry oil. 😀
I tried it on my hair and feet so far. For my hair, the dry oil made it heavy and oily. Next time I’ll try hair masking with it. For my feet, it softened the dry skin around my toenails. Oh, its scent is worth mentioning. I ♥ ♥ the scent and it’s the reason why I want the dry oil to work for me. XD;
