I sort of ‘failed’ my skin care contributions last week. I should have posted daily too, so all I currently use I could have covered than only the newly incorporated to my routine. Anyway, skin care week is over, but I’ll resume to write about the others I use, particularly, the ‘oldies, but still goodies.’ 🙂
What I’m going to share this time aren’t products that I currently have, but more of a wishlist than anything else. I have experienced using the products shown in this article a few times since last year through facial services offered by Dior Skincare Suite in Makati. And since I really liked the products used on ma face, I might as well share my experience.
The O.S.T. Original Pure Vitamin C20 Serum helps in anti-aging, tightening pores, brightening, reducing visibility of scars and hyperpigmentation, and removing blackheads. It comes in a brown medicine bottle with a screw cap. A cap dropper is also provided.
The Clinique’s Clinical Clearing Gel is something that I use at night, after I’ve cleansed my face and right before I use a moisturizer, and on occasions (which is often) that I can feel a swell on my face that indicates an upcoming pimple.
Claim to fame: Daily treatment gel provden to give you clearer skin. Fast-drying, oil-free formula goes to work immediately to help clean blemishes, promote healing, prevent breakouts.
Directions: Apply a thin layer to entire face twice a day after cleansing. Or spot-apply if you are using another leave-on blemish treatment.
The COSRX Natural BHA Skin Returning Emulsion is the sixth step in my evening skin care routine, while third and last in the morning.
This product contains Natural BHA to control oil while helping to clear recurring pimples. A non-drying acne treatment solution for sensitive skin.
Taking over for day two of Skin Care week, let me introduce you to my new best friend, the Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Cleansing Bar for Face and Body. Setting aside that the name of the soap is quite a mouthful, you might ask, why a soap bar? Isn’t there a cleansing gel or liquid cleanser that can work on your acne? To be honest, I have tried the cleansing foam, the cleansing gel, the liquid cleanser… I’ve tried them all but it’s just not working well enough for me.
Starting today until the end of the week, Joiz and I will blog about current skin care. Please keep in mind we both have oily skin, so some might not work for you if you have dry skin. We hope you’ll find this series informative. Please leave a comment if there’s something you still wish to know about our skin care products or routine. 🙂
I started having acne (again) since late last year. I believed it was because of sunscreen and foundation gone bad. But switching products and double-cleansing didn’t change anything. I then figured I had hormonal acne as it persistently appeared on my jawline and cheeks. I knew I had to update or return to my more-then-3-step skin care routine.
I call this look “Shabby Chic” because of the lip color. ☺ Excuse the pimple and tiny bumps btw because my face went through purging.
