This heat is crazy. I feel sticky and dehydrated even though I drink water and Pocari a lot. My lips are dry and have been peeling too. I’ve been bummed out since I arrived home and this heat is not helping. Le sigh~ Games have been helpful plus a cup of Joe (yeah, I still drink it hot just because) though. Then I thought that instead of wasting energy getting bummed out, I’ll use the frustration on blogging. 😛
Have you joined our giveaway yet? One of the items we’re giving away is what I shall be reviewing tonight and it’s the Biore UV Perfect Bright Milk SPF50. 🙂
I had no intention to use this now in spite of the summer because my foundation and face powder already have SPF. But last Saturday, as I was readying to go out, I noticed that my skin’s dull. Those two weren’t enough, it seems. And I thought I only needed a highlighter becausee, more than a week ago, I saw my face while at work and it looked flat.
I bought the sunscreen around late last year for my trip in Davao and, man, was I happy when I used this the first time!
I only have good things to say with this sunscreen:
- Perfect to use prior makeup
- Not sticky
- The formula is very light
- Unscented; doesn’t have the usual sunscreen smell
- Waterproof and sweat-proof
- Has sebum-control; keeps face free from oiliness and shine
- Brightens my face (not white-cast bright)
- Small plastic bottle makes great for travel
- Very affordable at around PhP400 or less
A little of it goes a long way. Its consistency is almost thin. When gently massaged onto skin, it would feel a bit oily at first then like powder. The sunscreen leaves some white cast that is pink-ish (maybe that’s why its container is pink? lol!). It fades away eventually, but those with brown or darker skin needs to be mindful of that.
I highly recommend this for those with very oily skin and that have problems wearing makeup in this horrid weather, besides for sun protection of course. Since it keeps sebum at bay, the makeup stays put. I didn’t think that was possible with a sunscreen. ♥ Now you know why we included this in our giveaway. 🙂
Oh, this is the first Biore product I tried and I’m glad I did. 🙂 I bought a couple more from them, both of which are makeup removers.
Biore is widely available in Landmark and SM department stores, PCX, and Watsons. There’s a Biore PH Facebook page you can check to know more of them and their products.
