If you’ve seen my Instagram post on these Lancome Matte Shakers, I mentioned that these shades Completely Nut! and Plum Plum Girl are my first Matte Shakers. The Sephora sale last December 2017 for it was such a good deal that I nearly bought all the available shades. I’m part proud that I only bought 2 shades, but disappointed at my self-control. XD I really ♥ the Matte Shaker formula.
You thought I would forget my third installment of recommended blushes, didn’t you? 😀 Now that I’ve had dinner and a nap after what seemed like forever at work, I will do my best to get this review up before midnight strikes. 🙂
Lancome Blush Subtil in Shimmer Mandarin Sky
This Lancome blush has been with me for quite a while now. Before I had it, it has been in my wish list for a while too. My Aunt/Godmother gifted this to me when I sent her my beauty wish list. (Yay! Thank you, Tita!)
All these are high-end products 🙂
Laura Mercier Extreme Neutrals Eye Shadow Palette
This neutrals e/s palette is Laura Mercier’s release for this spring. When I saw the palette, I wanted it right away. Honestly, I had no idea it hasn’t been released yet at the time I first saw this. I went to the store to look for it. The saleslady told me they don’t have it yet, of course. Now I find out it was released only a few days ago.
The boyfriend and I went on our first visit at a nearby board gaming place. I prepared early so I can take photos. 😀
This Lancôme quad eyeshadow beats all my other eyeshadows. Its longevity is the best.
This quad eyeshadow palette contains four shades some of which, based on research as of writing, is available in singles.
- Suntouched — Frosty, very light brown
- Latte — Matte off-white
- Lezard — Matte dark brown with some micro-shimmers
- Burnt Sand — Frosty light copper
The eyeshadows are housed in a plastic casing that locks tightly. With the light plastic casing, only the eyeshadows make this palette slightly heavy. This is very compact that it’s easy to tuck in your purse or convenient on travel which is a plus for me.
My L’Absolu Rouge is from a three-piece set which is a gift from my generous Aunt/Ninang. 😀 I wanted a different shade, instead she gave me this set. I’m not complaining. Three lipsticks against one? I’ll gladly and gratefully take the three-piece.
Aah~ More than a year since I had this lipstick for this review to be done.
Lancôme’s L’Absolu Rouge line boasts of having advanced replenishing and reshaping lipcolor. It contains Pro-Xylane™ that keeps lips moist, soft and comfortable for up to 8 hours. The SPF12 provides lips with protection. The regular-sized L’Absolu Rouge is 4.2ml/3.99/0.14oz; similar to Laura Mercier’s Crème Lip Colour. I believe all L’Absolu Rouge lipsticks have a satin finish. They also have a flowery scent that I quite like.
The MAC Ruffian Collection was released last June 18, 2012 in North America. The collection includes three lipsticks and three manicures. One of the lipsticks caught my eye.
I wondered if it has huge gold specks, but it doesn’t. Here’s a swatch by the awesome Christine:

I don’t haul like mad. I only get what suits me or what I really need. Because, honestly, it’s hard to have other _expensive_ interests such as gaming and toys. Budget is a must for me! For all of us actually. 😛 But I admit I sometimes buy cosmetics on impulse. Lately I have been into buying lipsticks and blushes. The thought of summer made me want some corals although I keep getting drawn away by pretty pinks, reds, and plums that I find. ^^;
Below are what I’ve acquired so far since January this year.
I found out not too long ago that my brother changed the settings of my camera that’s why most of my FOTDs and FOTNs were either grainy or blurry. Lesson learned — Double-check settings of camera before taking pictures. Stupid of me not to think of that when I wondered all the time why the quality of the pictures didn’t look too well. Oh, since I browsed through previous FOTDs and FOTNs, I realized how I _slightly_ got better in makeup application.
Moving on to the point of this post…
Such a pretty collection of pinks, oranges, and greens this spring 2012 collection of Lancome. 🙂
By Aaron de May, this collection includes a blush, three lipglosses, three lipsticks, two eyeshadow palettes, and three nail lacquers.
