Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation in Buff Bisque

Before I begin the review, please note: This review could be helpful for those with normal to oily skin. I have oily skin particularly on the t-zone.

Review

The Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation has been my go-to summer foundation. I didn’t think I would like it for summer because I thought it would melt and feel gross once I sweat. Those never happened. As a matter of fact, it would stay put for 8 hours or even more in the summer heat.

The Wet n Wild Photofocus Foundation is one of my go-to bases this summer. I'm glad I found a cheap foundation that can stay on in this heat because I can't get myself to use expensive ones daily. 😅 ・ The Photofocus Foundation claims to be a matte, skin-perfecting foundation that was tested under different lighting conditions so as not to give the face a white-cast. ・ White-cast hasn't been a major concern of mine, but I need oil-control and longevity. ♡ This doesn't make my face super oily although I still get just a bit of oiliness particularly on my nose. Just a bit. 😉 ♡ Lasts all day be it under warm or cold weather. ♡ Doesn't pill or crease. ・ I would definitely repurchase this foundation now that it's available here. I just have to recall if it's in Trinoma or SM North. 😅 I had to hold off posting about the Wet n Wild Photofocus Foundation because it wasn't readily available in stores. Not until recently. 😊 〜@yaoifest ・ ・ ・ #nofilter #foundation #makeup #cosmetics #drugstoremakeup #drugstorefoundation #WetnWild #beautyblogger #bloggerPH #beauty #beautyaddict #instabeauty #beautyblog #makeupph

The foundation has medium coverage and covers the redness I sometimes get. Some blemishes still show, but can be covered with concealer anyway. It doesn’t feel tacky, doesn’t transfer even without setting, doesnt’ crease, nor make my skin oily . It feels lightweight too.

Swatches

Packaging

The foundation comes in a glass bottle with a plastic wand applicator. A glass bottle, as usual, isn’t often great for travel though.

Reviews I encountered usually mention an issue with the applicator in regard to sanitation. I don’t really mind as it’s easier and faster for me and I apply on myself only with a clean face (of course with the necessary skincare).

In conclusion…

To summarize, here are the pros:
✓ Medium coverage; can cover my redness
✓ No white-cast
✓ Not flat matte on the skin; almost natural-looking on me
✓ Doesn’t crease
✓ Doesn’t transfer
✓ Doesn’t make me oily
✓ Not tacky
✓ Lightweight
✓ 8-hour+ longevity even in summer heat

I can’t think of any cons. The glass bottle maybe, but that’s only because I’d likely not bring it for travel or just about anywhere except on my dresser. 😆

For its cheap price, this is such a good foundation that you mustn’t pass on. 🙂

Availability and price

This (and all other new Wet n Wild products) is now available in SM North and some Watsons branches (seems all those located up north from my place. lols). As far as I know, it’s only Php399.
