An FYI on the St. Ives Apricot Scrub

I heard the scrub is dangerous to use on the face because it includes crushed walnut shells. CRUSHED WALNUT SHELLS. I wish this is an April Fool’s Joke. The other day, TMZ reported that two women filed a lawsuit against the parent company of St. Ives–Unilever.

BeautyMNL sent me a sample of it from this purchase. I still have the Clinique 7 Day Scrub Cream Rinse-Off Formula, so I stored the this face scrub. I guess it won’t be used after all. Oh, I got a suggestion to use it as foot scrub. 😛 Actually, I tried it on my elbow, which is usually dry. My elbow did feel smoother, but the scrub was too gritty and didn’t feel like it would be gentle on the skin.

I hope this isn’t the face scrub I overheard two girls talking about. One of them raved about it. She told her friend how good it is and her mom likes it too. I hope they find out, if not already, that the scrub will eventually damage their skin if this is what they talked about.
