The shade I have is 240 Natural Beige that is medium with cool undertone. The foundation comes in a tube with 22ml of product and comes with a pump.
Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick in Tumultuous Pink is a fuchsia lipstick with a cream finish. I did a Google search on this shade and found out it’s a classic shade. It won Allure’s Best of Beauty award in 2014. 2014!
I have a lot of good/positive to say about this lipstick.
- Applies evenly with intense pigmentation
- Creamy and non-drying
In the initial release of the collection with the MTHRSHP Sublime Bronze Temptation palette in the official website, the palette sold out fast. I wasn’t sure if it would be available again. I think (and still do) it’s a limited holiday release, so I was a bit disappointed to miss out. To my surprise, Sephora Philippines had it. I quickly ordered the palette the moment Sephora PH announced they already carry the brand. The MTHRSHP Sublime Bronze Temptation is my first Pat McGrath eyeshadow palette. 🙂
The Dior Forever Skin Glow is a new range of foundation under the Forever line, which was released early this year. It is actually a reformulation of (my holy grail) Diorskin Forever foundation. But other than a velvet matte finish foundation, they also released a radiant finish variant.
Description and ingredients
The new Dior Forever foundation comes in a glass bottle with pump. I like its new bottle design because it’s not bulky and easy to store and even pack for travel. It contains 30ml of product and has SPF35 PA++.
One reason I was keen on summer season was so I can use the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Whipped Body Cream. Its fragrance is just perfect for the season.
In the website, the body crème is said to be a seductive, sun-kissed fragrance of Bronze Goddess. I don’t know the scent of a Bronze Goddess, but OK. LOL! Seriously though, its scent reminds me of summer, sand, and water.
I meant to update on my project pan last year and give a list of products for project pan this year, but I’ve been testing out makeup since I “shopped my stash” that I forgot.
Anyway, today I will review the Guerlain Lingerie de Peau Cushion.
This cushion wasn’t on my wish list nor did I have any interest in it, but Guerlain had this irresistible sale that included this. I seriously need to stop getting tempted by big offers. XD
Nothing grand or even glam for my first post this year.
I meant to publish today’s review sometime in the last week of December, but I was busy and (mentally) exhausted to blog. Anyway, this may not be grand or glam, but at least I’m already blogging at the start of the year. 😀
I was never a fan of eyelash curlers. Be it by me or another person, my eyelids would often get pinched or my eyelashes don’t really curl up. So I didn’t bother anymore until I got to use an eyelash curler again when I had my makeup done in my favorite store. Curled up lashes really do make a difference.
The NARS holiday collection this year is just right up my alley with its punk-style packaging design. Some items are sets of those from permanent items, but some are limited to this collection like the Powermatte Lip Luster, Spiked Audacious Lipsticks, Provocateur and Scandal Eyeshadow Palettes, and–the highlight of this post–the Hot Tryst Cheek Palette.
Another NARS release, which was a surprise to me as I didn’t see any news of its release, is the Wanted Velvet Lip Glide Set. I like a lot of NARS lip products, most especially the Velvet Lip Glide. I knew I had to have this set (with Becca from porepatrol) the moment I saw this in store. 🙂
