Estee Lauder Signature – Mocha Lipstick

This is one of the few lipsticks that I haven’t used yet. My Mum and Lolas are into reds, so other colors end up given to me. ๐Ÿ™‚

Estee Lauder Signature in Mocha

I thought this was a Lancome lipstick when I first saw it since my other Estee Lauder lipsticks are in rectangular/cornered cases.

Of course I thought wrong. ๐Ÿ˜› Here’s Estee Lauder’s description of their Signature line lipsticks:

  • Full-coverage color has true character and depth.
  • Finish is lustrous for a smooth, sophisticated shine.
  • Rich, hydrating formula feels light and comfortable.

Etude House Juicy Pop Tube #13

Last month, I blogged about my Etude House Juicy Pop Tube purchase.

Juicy Pop Tube #13

The Etude House Juicy Pop Tube costs only PhP128 which is about $3 or less. I tested about 3 or 4 tubes and chose the shimmery pink — the #13.

Turns out to be sheer and hardly made my lips look pink. I wasn’t expecting it to be pigmented, but not as disappointing as this. Also, it has too much glitters. I squeezed out a gunk of glitter one time. I wiped that off and, when I applied on my lips, my lips still became silver. *facepalms* That pissed me off because the glitters were hard to remove. Eventually, I learned that if you have the tube placed vertically in your pouch or bag, the cap part should be upward so the glitters would settle at the bottom.

Tony Moly Expert Triple BB Cream

I’m pretty much a BB cream newbie. I’ve only tried Etude House Magic BB Cream (I should do a review on this one since I use it regularly) and I find it pretty good although lacking in coverage. This review is not about that particular BB cream. It’s about the sample BB cream I won from Lizz Buenaventura.

For those not in the know, BB creams aka blemish balms are the latest craze in Asia. They are multi-functional skincare products which can moisturize, soothe, heal, cover and protect the face. Some BB creams offer sun protection and whitening properties too. It is used like a moisturizer but sometimes I just use it as base and then apply foundation over it.

Urban Decay: Alice in Wonderland palette

I was going through photos then I realized I forgot to blog about the Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland palette. My ‘soon’ has taken almost ages. *lol*

Air21 package

I pre-ordered the limited-edition palette around the month of February and it arrived by early April. Super worth the wait!

Sephora packaging

When I saw the Sephora packaging, I suddenly miss being in the US and visiting Sephora even if I didn’t have any money to shop. ๐Ÿ˜›

I slowly opened the package and took lots of pictures. It’s that special that it requires much camwhoring. XD

Last weekend’s purchases and where to find Mosbeau

It took me until this weekend to get this post up. ^^;;; Sorry! I wouldn’t have been procrastinating if it weren’t for my sudden ‘problem.’ ~_~

Olay - Natural White
Olay – Natural White

What I really use is Olay’s White Radiance which I got from my Mum. She gave it to me after my breakup late last year. ๐Ÿ˜› I’m about to hit the bottom of the jar, so I went out to look for another. I found it odd that I couldn’t find one. Then my Mum told me that she purchased it in the US. Now I hope this Natural White is as effective as White Radiance. Reviews for both to come. ๐Ÿ˜€

Review: MAC Pink Swoon made me swoon

Tis time for another beauty product review! Let me introduce you to my new favorite blush, MAC Pink Swoon.

blush reviewblush review

Let me just say that this blush is sooo great. It’s very light pink which, when applied, makes the girl appear blushing! I think this is better than NARS’ Blush in Orgasm. There is a drawback to this great product though. It will only work on fair skin. Otherwise, the blush wouldn’t show. I already have fair skin and Pink Swoon barely registers on camera. See the photo below.

Snapdragon lips

My Snapdragon lipstick is too dry and hard to apply. This is the only matte lipstick I have and it’s making me dislike matte lipsticks generally. ๐Ÿ™ Such a waste to throw it away, I thought I’d do a little ‘test’.

Products used:

  • Max Factor Lip conditioner
  • Estee Lauder Snapdragon Lipstick
  • Lavshuca RD-1 Lip gloss

The staying power of the lipstick is about 2 hours tops. I guess whatever ingredient that should have made it glide smoothly or give a bit of shine has dried out. When I did the ‘test’, it lasted for hours even when I had a big cup of tea. The lip gloss is a match for the lipstick. ๐Ÿ˜€

Lavshuca RD-1 lipgloss review

As what I read from various beauty blogs, it’s true that Japanese lip glosses are flavorless and scentless. All my lip glosses are flavored and some are even scented. The Lavshuca is so alien to me. *lol*

Lavshuca RD-1

The color may be red, but it’s almost transparent with a hint of pink. I was right with my hunch that it won’t be like my Estee Lauder and Clinique lip glosses wherein the colors are visible on the lips like how a lipstick would be.

Etude House’s Proof 10 Eye Primer

It was due to browsing beauty blogs did I discover about Etude House. The name sounded familiar. When I saw Lee Min Ho in one of Etude House’s ads did I remember where I saw Etude House — a cm of theirs with him in it. I didn’t think they’d land into Philippine shores.

The cuteness of the shop had me sold. I asked Jan that we visit in their one and only (but not for long) store in Megamall. Being that I was very poor at that time we went there, I only got to purchase one item:
