Clinique’s free services
I was able to complete the free services of Clinique at the nick of time. 😀 If I remember right, Joiz and I found out about the services less than two weeks before the last day. We tried to squeeze it in our
seeminglybusy schedule. XDDD These are ‘after’ shots of some services I had:
Clinique’s Concealing Techniques
I know a before and after comparison shots would be better and the yellow lighting (this was taken at Mary Grace) hardly helps. But his picture was taken hours after and usually, at this point, blemishes and my semi-panda eyes would already be obvious.
I don’t really fill in my brows, but just tidy them since they’re not thinly shaped. At first I wasn’t comfortable with what was done with my brows. I felt it was too much for my fez. But I got to like it after I took these pictures. Still, I don’t see it becoming part of my makeup routine right now.
Foundation Fitting and Day-to-Night Look
Clinique’s True Beige Foundation suits me nicely. I also found out what shade I am with the concealer and powder, but I forgot what they are. LOL I only remember the foundation because I got one in spite of still having tubes of foundations (yet of a different brand) at home.
If it weren’t for the free services, I wouldn’t know how nice their foundation, concealer, face powder, eyeliners are. The only makeup products I have of theirs are lipsticks, eyeshadows, and a mascara. I like their lipsticks because they’re all wearable. Their eyeshadows, on the other hand, are a hit and miss. As for the mascara, I’ll save my comment to a review next time. 🙂 I’m still developing love for their makeup products, but their skincare I can vouch for.
I believe Clinique is offering free services again and their custom-fit consultation is available all-year round. Please do visit them. The Clinique experts are very friendly and will tell you all you need to know of their products and what should suit you and your skin. 🙂
I got more stuff from Clinique because of a couple of purchases and for completing the free services.
Thanks again to Clinique for their great service and the goodies. I will definitely be back as soon as Black Honey is available and whenever I’m out of skincare. 😀
Lastly — EOTN: A bit of bronze
I had a dinner out at Max’s a couple of weeks back for their 4Sharing (again). This would have been a FOTN, but I wasn’t able to take a picture before the dinner.
Here’s what I used:
- Estee Lauder Baby Pink — sheer and slightly shimmery light pink all over lid
- Estee Lauder Cinnamon — shimmery bronze on middle of lid
- Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland BoS Mad Hatter — dark brown on outer “V”/lid
- Estee Lauder Ivory Box — pretty shimmery white on browbone
- Maybelline The Magnum Volum’Express
