The CoverGirl TruBlend Matte Made Foundation comes in a bottle with pump and contains 30ml of product. CoverGirl claims the foundation has a 12-hour matte comfort, minimizes pores, controls oil, and is transfer-resistant.
My shade is M15. The shade looks a bit lighter than my skin tone and a bit gray, but it blends to my skin tone as it sets. Then once it sets, it’s set. There is no tackiness, no transfer, and it is not drying. I do have some dry areas (near the corners of my mouth, for example), but it doesn’t cling on to those.
The foundation is able to keep my oiliness at bay for about 6 hours. Sometimes even longer. I just pat away with tissue if my face starts to get oily. Also, the oiliness doesn’t look that bad. Like I just get a natural glow. 😛
Even with a primer or illuminator, it has no difference when I have the foundation by itself. There is also no difference in the time I get oily. The illuminators I used with it, so far, are the Dior Nude Air Luminizer and Tom Ford Soleil Glow Drops.
However, the foundation has a slight chemical smell, which I can only sometimes tolerate. I usually don’t breathe when I pump out foundation. The smell goes away quickly, anyway.
Those with oily skin should try the CoverGirl TruBlend Matte Made Foundation. I suggest personally swatching this foundation to get the best match because it seems to shift a bit as it dries down.
