The Revlon PhotoReady Candid Natural Finish Anti-Pollution Foundation has medium coverage that may be layered (without looking cakey) to nearly full coverage. It has a matte finish. Matte foundations sometimes make my skin look very dehydrated or dry, in spite my having oily skin, but that never happens with this foundation.
It’s the only foundation I have that sets rather fast, so it’s best applied with a brush and by sections of the face (like left side first or forehead first). I also tried to apply with my fingers and sponge. Both are ok, but the former is less prefered for me.
I tested it on a winter season without primer and it didn’t make my skin dry. In the pictures below, my dark circles are showing up but the rest of my skin still looks ok. Usually, after 6+ hours, my face is greasy af.
I also tested this under very warm Philippine weather, both with the PhotoReady Rose Glow Hydrating and Illuminating Primer and without, and it didn’t come off even when I sweated profusely and it even lasted pretty well.
I like the tube packaging that comes with a pump (YES!) because it makes the foundation travel-friendly.
Yeah, my review on the PhotoReady Candid Foundation is very positive. My only problem with it is that it’s only 22ml while priced the same or even more expensive than most drugstore/affordable foundations. Given how good it is, I guess I can overlook that?
The Revlon PhotoReady Candid Natural Finish Anti-Pollution Foundation is available in all Revlon counters at Php675. Until the end of this month, the foundation may be purchased bundled with other Candid items.
