Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Lipstick in 107

Yay, it’s already Friday! I’ve been looking forward to the weekend because of my recent sleep troubles. I want to get a long shut-eye. Gotta work, work, work, so this day will go fast. 😀

Before I attemptget to work, here’s a quick post on another lipstick I’ve been using for a couple of months now as my after-work or night time look. It’s not just a July pick.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick 107 is deep berry red that is supposedly matte, yet has a slight shiny finish. My boyfriend saw this shade while I was browsing online and told me that it would look good on me. I bought it right away! I don’t think I have a similar shade, so this makes my first deep berry red lipstick.

I ♥ its formula.

  • Creamy that it glides on easily and doesn’t feel heavy and thick on the lips.
  • Very opaque and may be intensified to a deeper finish
  • Almost five hours longevity
  • Does not accentuate lines, bleed, or stain teeth
  • Not drying
  • Does not leave a line of color on the edges of my lips; comes off evenly or just the center of the lips
  • Leaves a slight stain once the lipstick is entirely gone

The tube cost me only PhP399. Real cheap because you even get a lot of product, not to mention, the less need to re-apply. I also love the plastic yet sturdy case, although I cannot place this bottom-up in my drawer because of the slanted top cover.

Since it’s creamy, it is not entirely transfer-proof. My only problem is its strong scent, which I just tolerate because I ♥ the lipstick. 😛 Oh, another issue is the availability. This and other Rimmel products can be bought at the moment from local online sellers other than the usual big name online shops.

I’m very much considering getting other Lasting Finish shades because of my good experience with this particular lipstick. Matte lovers should give this a try or if you want to get into matte lippies. I prefer this over the formulation of the Maybelline Creamy Mattes.
