Second quarter empties

Currently in Singapore now, waiting for my flight to CH as I finalize this post. I’m excited to get the chance to sleep. I’m hoping I’ll be alone in my seat row. đŸ˜€ Anyway, these are my empties from second quarter this year.

Clairol Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Moisturizing Shampoo

Clairol, BCL, Vitresse

I hoped this would work for me. In the long run, it didn’t. A few days into after using it, whenever my scalp would get sweaty, it would itch like crazy. An itchy scalp is unbearable!

So I’ll be flying to CH and these are my toiletries

I feel more organized with my packing for this Switzerland trip probably because my flight has been long delayed. I had plenty of time to make sure to bring the essentials. So, here’s my toiletries with only those I use daily.

I have two shower gels because the Bath & Body Works in Warm Vanilla Sugar is nearly empty. I thought I was out of shower gel, but remembered the gift I received from a former co-worker. The shower gel and its body lotion both smell amazing. I’m excited to use them. There’s also my Clinique 3-Step Skin Care with the fully-charged Sonic Brush. I can’t stop from recommending and praising the Sonic Brush to friends. đŸ˜€ I’m considering bringing another travel-sized tube of the liquid facial soap. Just in case.

Current hair and body skin care

So here’s my body and skin care that I’ve been using since this year started. I think I should switch or add sunblock and SPF products in there. It’s summer time! But several of these are nearly empty, so I’ll definitely start using sunblock and other for summer products. đŸ™‚

August and September scents

I’ve forgotten to blog my August scent, so I’m posting it here with my September scent. đŸ™‚

Playboy Body Mist in Play It Lovely…

Playboy Body Mist - Play It Lovely
August scent/p>

Play It Lovely is a mix of floral and fruity scents. Its top notes are blackberry, juicy pear & cherry baby orchid. This isn’t strong; good for everyday use, but the longevity is where it fails. It doesn’t even last an hour on a hot day. That’s why I used this for August when it’s the rainy season when I wouldn’t perspire so much. :3

Shabby’s November scents are from Avon and Bath and Body Works

They are:

Avon EDT Be…Kissable 001v2 Warm Vanilla Sugar Fine Fragrance Mist 001v2
Avon Be…Kissable and Bath & Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar

I received Be…Kissable as a gift. I thought I wouldn’t be able to use it anymore when I have forgotten about it. I found its box realized I haven’t used it ever. Be…Kissable has a very feminine and flirty scent. Should you know me irl, you would think it is unlikely of me to be wearing it.

September scent

My September scent is one of my favorites:

Bath & Body Works - Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Spray v2
Bath & Body Works’ Japanese Cherry Blossom (probably my fourth bottle)

It has a fresh, floral, vanilla, musk, and woody fragrance with even a hint of cinnamon. This is a great everyday scent; very down-to-earth, but still girly and fun. This may be for night out or dates, but just to make you smell fresh and not too sexy to make your crush or SO’s heart skip a beat. I find it non-irritating to my nose even when I spritz on more than usual. Longevity is moderate and sillage can be moderate to heavy. I will never get tired of this Japanese Cherry Blossom. It’s the first B&BW scent that I liked and I have been using this for years. I hoarded even its variants of body wash, antibacterial hand gel, and shampoo. I matched this with its body lotion which is milder smell than the body spray.

Having dry hair and Bath & Body Works shampoos

My hair is very dry. I blame it from too much hair blower and iron, but I just can’t live without them. I get a lion’s mane bad hair day when I let my hair dry on its own. I’m not really a fan of tying my hair unless my hair is being impossible. I asked around about what to do. Some suggested a moisturizing shampoo. One specifically mentioned Human Heart Nature. Then I remembered I still have two travel-size bottles of Bath & Body Works shampoos in moisturizing and volumizing. I thought I’d rather test them first before I go buy another shampoo.
