Laura Mercier Stardust Radiant Glow Palette

The Laura Mercier Stardust Radiant Glow Palette is (still) my favorite all-around/multi-task palette. It’s difficult for me to set this aside when I need to rotate my makeup, which I do weekly.

The palette was released in part of Laura Mercier’s holiday collection last year. I fell in love with it at first sight, but I didn’t buy it right away. I tried hard to be a “wise consumer” by sleeping it off. Maybe I was just taken by how pretty it is. Then when I went on a vacation, I couldn’t stop thinking about it to the point I had to contact the SA for a reservation while still out of the country. 😂

Project Pan 2018

I’m finally doing a project pan!

Until a couple of years ago, I always had to empty or hit pan before I buy new makeup. Eventually, with all the seemingly good releases and my unexpected liking for Dior, I’ve amassed a lot of makeup that emptying or hitting pan has become a challenge. So I’m doing that challenge this year. Not to buy new ones–except skincare, of course–but to lessen clutter and make way for still unopened makeup.

Before 2017 ended, I already listed the makeup and skincare I want to use up this 2018. Some like contour and bronzers could be really difficult to hit pan on, but I will do my best!

FOTN: Sin on NYE

This was my makeup for New Year’s.

The family and I only stayed home, so it seemed this was too much. But I wanted to play with makeup. 😛 I also missed wearing my Mac Sin.

Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation Primer

All these years wearing makeup, I never used a primer until recently. I want to make my makeup last longer and prevent oiliness for at least 6 hours. The weather and office conditions make my face produce more oil than it usually does. 😕 I consulted Google and found two options including this primer I’m about to review.

I would consider my other option in spite its high price tag, but I remembered I had a tester of the original Laura Mercier Foundation Primer. So I took that out, tried it, and was very impressed how it made my makeup look.

Too much makeup shopping!

A collective post on my loot from third quarter this year to present. There are some I couldn’t find photos I took of, so I didn’t include them here. I don’t want to retake because I don’t remember when I bought them should I remember which ones they are from my makeup stuff. Anyway, I added my initial impressions per product below.

Benefit Rockitude! and the Porefessional
These were purchased earlier than 3rd quarter of this year.

Benefit Rockitude! – I only wanted the Benetint, but I saw this and thought this was such a good deal. I get to try the High Beam too!

Benefit Porefessional – This great for travel since, for a face powder, it comes with a brush instead of a puff.
