Venomous Villains Collection by MAC and Disney

I’m trying so hard to get rid of my writing slump. I’ve been days late to post this since the international release of the Venomous Villains Collection. Anyway, good luck to me as I try to get my lazy ass back to blogging. 😛 Oh, be warned that this post is graphic-heavy.

Paul and Joe Fall 2010 Collection

I know Karen is into Paul & Joe, so I’m posting this for her. I wonder if she would like the kitty lipsticks. I do and I might get one. Hrhr~

Palette 1 Palette 1
#067 – Silvery Moon

Palette 2 Palette 2
#068 – Paper Moon

Palette 3 Palette 3
#069 – Blue Moon

Paisley design
#066 – Claire de Lune (pink beige)

Swan design
#067 – Over the Moon (pale)

I like the Swan-designed palette and lipstick though I’d get the lipstick first. Then again, the one with the paisley design has a prettier color. I hope to see swatches soon. 🙂

Snapdragon lips

My Snapdragon lipstick is too dry and hard to apply. This is the only matte lipstick I have and it’s making me dislike matte lipsticks generally. 🙁 Such a waste to throw it away, I thought I’d do a little ‘test’.

Products used:

  • Max Factor Lip conditioner
  • Estee Lauder Snapdragon Lipstick
  • Lavshuca RD-1 Lip gloss

The staying power of the lipstick is about 2 hours tops. I guess whatever ingredient that should have made it glide smoothly or give a bit of shine has dried out. When I did the ‘test’, it lasted for hours even when I had a big cup of tea. The lip gloss is a match for the lipstick. 😀

Shabby and her pouch

Hello! The name’s Shabby and, if you know me irl, you would be surprised why I’m part of a beauty blog. 😛 I’m into Gundam, photography, cameras, cars, figures (Revoltech) — most of what boys would be interested in. Very, very few knows I’m also into makeups. Specifically eye makeups, lip glosses, and lipsticks.

I have been figuring out what would be my first post here until I came across What’s in Your Makeup Bag?. The group gave me an idea, so I decided to organize my pouch and take pictures of what’s inside. I try not to bring too much around. These are pretty much what I usually need since the office is only where I often go to anyway.

They are — wet wipes, small Tamagotchi tin, 2 lipsticks, lip conditioner, eye mascara, lip gloss, lip balm, 2-in-1 bronze and blush, powder, anti-bacterial hand gel, hair clip, and eye shadows. The Tamagotchi tin contains safety pins, medicines, and earrings. Let’s take a closer look at some.
